Most Searched Recliner Massage Chairs Part 2: Osaki Milan 3D Recliner Review: A Practical Massage Recliner With Some Unique Features

Osaki Recliner 3D Milan Massage

First on our list from our previous post is the Osaki Milan 3D Recliner. First on the list, but not necessarily the best or the worst. We are going down the list one chair at a time, and as always, these are my personal takes after looking at what each chair brings to the table.

Let's start with the design. Personally, I am not sure if this is a look I would chase after. It is not necessarily bad, but design wise, it may not be for everybody. Of course, looks are subjective. Some people may love it, while others may prefer something that looks more like a traditional luxury recliner.

Now, here is where things get interesting.

A Legitimate 3D Massage Mechanism

The Osaki Milan has a legitimate 3D massage mechanism that reaches down to about the middle of the glutes. That is a big part of what makes this chair more than just a regular recliner with a massage function.

For those unfamiliar with 3D massage technology, the rollers can move in and out, allowing for adjustments in massage depth. This gives the chair another dimension of massage control compared with a basic 2D massage mechanism.

The sitting position is slightly more upright than I personally prefer. However, the chair does recline into zero gravity mode, which helps make up for it. So while the initial sitting position may not be my favorite, the ability to recline gives you another way to get comfortable.

A Remote Control That Actually Shows You What Is Happening

One of the coolest features of the Osaki Milan is its wired handheld remote control.

The remote is well made, and what really stands out is the visual display. You can see where the massage rollers are positioned instead of simply pressing buttons and guessing what the chair is doing.

Honestly, I think this is a pretty neat feature. It gives you a better visual understanding of the massage mechanism as it moves along your back.

The chair also has built in quick controls on the side of the armrest. This is convenient because you do not always have to reach for the handheld remote just to make a quick adjustment.

It is a practical combination of controls that makes sense for everyday use.

A Massage Recliner That Rotates

Another feature worth mentioning is the rotating ability.

This is one of those features you do not see on every massage recliner. In fact, it is an uncommon feature among massage chairs, which makes the Osaki Milan stand out a little more.

Depending on your room layout, being able to rotate the chair can be genuinely useful. It gives you more flexibility in how you position yourself without necessarily having to move the entire chair around.

This is where I think the Osaki Milan deserves some credit. The design may not be my personal favorite, but the practical thinking behind the chair is hard to ignore.

My Verdict on the Osaki Milan 3D Recliner

If you are shopping for an Osaki massage chair or a massage recliner that combines everyday practicality with some unique features, the Milan is worth considering.

My biggest gripe is still the design. I also think the shape of the chair, combined with the way its 3D massage mechanism works, could make it a love it or leave it kind of chair for certain shoppers. Some people may really enjoy the fit and feel, while others may prefer a different style of massage experience.

Overall, I think the Osaki Milan is a great massage recliner, especially when you consider its price point. You get a legitimate 3D massage mechanism, zero gravity reclining, convenient armrest controls, a visual remote display, and the ability to rotate the chair.

And for the right buyer, the Osaki Milan 3D Recliner could be a pretty solid choice.

My advice? If you are considering this chair, pay attention to the fit, the massage feel, and whether you like the design. Those are the things that will matter long after the excitement of reading the specifications wears off.
