Solara Massage Chair is $2,499. Do you recommend?

Okay, let's get straight to it like I always do.

The Positive Posture Solara Massage Chair is $2,499. Is it worth it?

Just like many massage chairs under $3,000, the Solara is strictly sold online. That keeps costs down because there is no traditional showroom, retail floor, or in person sales experience.

And that brings me to my biggest concern.

What if you don't like it?

A massage chair is not a little vacuum cleaner you can easily put back in a box and ship. Even a lighter massage chair is still a big, heavy piece of furniture. That is why I always recommend trying a massage chair before buying it whenever possible.

Now, I don't want to sound too pessimistic.

The Solara is actually a legitimate budget massage chair from Positive Posture, a brand within the Furniture For Life family. It offers an SL Track, four roller massage, air massage, zero gravity, heat, and foot rollers.

It's sleek, not bulky and In my opinion, looks nice.
The controls are only hard buttons on the chair. No remote, no screen pad to control. The arm compression is also very weak in my opinion.

For $2,499, on paper, yes, it's doesn't sound like a bad deal.

But here is the thing.

Features on a website and how a massage chair actually feels are two completely different things.

I've had multiple customers call us after buying massage chairs online because they couldn't figure out how to return them. Some even asked if we would buy the chair back from them.

So, do I think the Solara is a bad massage chair?

No.

Would I recommend buying it without trying it first?

Personally, I wouldn't.

If you're spending $2,499 on a massage chair, take the time to sit in it, try the massage, see how it fits your body, and make sure you actually like the experience.

Because at the end of the day, don't buy a massage chair because it looks good online. Buy it because it feels good on you.
